KABUL (Pajhwok): The Department of Neurosurgery of the Aliabad Teaching Hospital has successfully performed the brain cyst surgery of a 56-year-old patient, a statement said on Sunday.
Kabul University Medical Sciences on its Facebook page wrote the patient had referred to the hospital due headache and after a necessary checkup, a brain cyst was found.
The statement said the doctors and specialists of the neurosurgery department of this hospital successfully removed the cyst from the patient's brain.
Dr. Hamad Baqer Saeer, a neurosurgeon, termed the health condition of this patient satisfactory and said: "We were able to remove this cyst from the brain of this patient completely and safely."
