GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Around 3,700 eye-patients in southern Ghazni province have been provided free of cost treatment by a team of doctors sent by the Ministry of Public Health.

Public Health Director Dr. Mohammad Zrak Zeerak told Pajhwok Afghan News a free of cost treatment of eye-patients at the zone level was conducted in the Zonal Hospital. The campaign continued for 12 days.

He said that during this period, 230 eye surgeries were performed and about 3,500 people were treated for various eye diseases.

He added that these people were also provided with free medicines, glasses and tips.
