CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Six people have been arrested over allegedly stealing gold, solar panels, batteries and other items and a weapon was seized from them in central Parwan province, an official said on Tuesday.
Police spokesman Fazl Rahim Miskinyar told Pajhwok Afghan News during three separate operations, six individuals were detained in Khwaja Sayaran, third and fifth police districts of Bagram.
He said fourth district’s security forces captured two people while trying to rob a house in Khwaja Sayaran Salafi area.
Separately, two other individuals have been detained on charge of armed robberies and a weapon was recovered from them in the third police district, the police spokesman added.
According to Miskinyar, a suspect trying to rob a residential house was arrested in Khalazie area in the fifth police district.
Meanwhile, security forces in Bagram district detained a man while stealing a solar power panel and a battery, he explained.
Some stolen items including gold, solar panels, a battery and other items were recovered from the detainees. The arrested suspects’ dossiers will be handed over to judicial organs after investigation.
