3 people killed 11 injured in Samangan traffic accident

AIBAK (Pajhwok): Three people were killed and 11 others injured in a traffic accident in northern Samangan province on Friday, an official said.

Police Spokesperson Hashmatullah Rahmani told Pajhwok Afghan News this morning, a 580 type vehicle and a Tunis collided in the Hazrat Sultan district, on the general highway Aibak - Mazar-i-Sharif.

He says that three people were killed in this incident and at least 11 others, including women and children, were injured.

According to him, the injured have been transferred to Samangan Provincial Hospital.

The Traffic Department has attributed the accident to careless drivers.
