KABUL (Pajhwok): Freed from jails in Pakistan, 84 Afghan nationals have arrived to their homeland via Torkham crossing, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) said on Tuesday.
In a statement, MoRR said these individuals spent two days to one month in Haji Camp prison and were released as a result of efforts by Afghan officials.
“These Afghans had been detained for lack of legal documents,” the statement said. They returned to Afghanistan via Torkham crossing.
The returning Afghans were transferred to their native areas after receiving assistance, the ministry added.
