KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA) has signed a cooperation agreement valued at over $694,000 with a non-governmental organization (NGO).
In a statement, ANDMA wrote the agreements were signed between ANMDA chief Mullah Nooruddin Torabi and head of Action Aid organization Srikanta Misra.
Under the agreement, the organization would distribute cash and winter assistance costing $694,428 to 1,740 families in Kabul and western Ghor provinces.
Earlier, ANDMA had signed a cooperation agreement with Norwegian Committee for Afghanistan at a cost of $709,715.
