KABUL (Pajhwok): Kazakhstan’s deputy prime minister in a meeting with Afghanistan acting minister of transport and aviation has said the air corridor between the two countries will be opened in the near future.
The Ministry of Transport and Aviation wrote on its official website today that Acting Minister Mullah Hamidullah Akhundzada met with Kazakhstan Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin and his delegation.
Both sides discussed the development of transport and transit relations, the provision of transport facilities between the two countries, and the issuance of visas to Afghan drivers.
Zhumangarin said the air corridor between the two countries will be activated in the near future and his country was ready to cooperate with Afghanistan in various fields.
Akhunzada said Afghanistan and Kazakhstan have a strong desire for mutual development and cooperation.
