KABUL (Pajwhok): The cabinet approved the plan to regulate street vendors and considered it worthy of approval after the Islamic Emirate leadership announced a 40 percent fee reduction.
In a statement, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Zabihullah Mujahid said the 21st cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund on Monday.
In this meeting, important economic, social, and cultural issues were discussed and decisions were made, the statement added.
“The meeting approved the plan to organize vendors and considered it acceptable after the PM approved a 40 percent fee discount”.
According to the statement, the cabinet meeting also approved the report of the Economic Zones Evaluation Committee and assigned the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to coordinate and advance the results of this report with the relevant ministries.
