KABUL (Pajhwok): At least seven people have been killed and 33 others injured after a passenger train derailed following a bridge collapse in Russia, according to media reports.
TASS news agency quoted Moscow Railway officials as saying the collapse occurred due to interference with transport operations in the Vygonichsky District of the Bryansk Region on Saturday night.
Bryansk Region Governor Alexander Bogomaz confirmed that 30 of the injured have been taken to hospitals. Two individuals, including a child, are reported to be in serious condition.
