KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghan Embassy in Tehran has called on the Iranian judicial institutions to immediately bring the killer of an Afghan refugee, Kubra Rezaei, to justice.
Kubra Rezaei was on her way to her workplace when she was kidnapped and later brutally murdered.
The Embassy of the Islamic Emirate in Tehran has issued a statement condemning the incident and expressing its condolences to Kubra’s family.
The embassy said necessary documents, such as will, inheritance certificate, and power of attorney, had been prepared and handed over to Kubra’s family.
The statement said Afghan embassy officials met with the General Directorate of Consular Affairs of Iran and submitted an official note in this regard.
According to the embassy, Iranian officials assured that the culprit would be brought to justice regardless of his identity.
