Afghan MMA fighter Hotak set to return to ring

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Ahmad Wali Hotak is set to return to the ring after a long hiatus, facing a Dagestani opponent on June 27.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Hotak wrote: “After a long pause, I am returning to the ring. Representing proud Afghanistan, I’m ready to compete in an international MMA event against a strong opponent from Dagestan. Your support and prayers will make this journey to victory easier for me.”

He added that the fight will be held in Belarus.

According to reports, Hotak has fought 11 matches to date, winning 10 and losing only one. He has not competed in any international events since 2022.
