2 die in Samangan coalmine collapse incidents

AIBAK (Pajhwok): Two workers lost their lives in two separate coalmine collapse incidents in the Dara-e-Suf district of northern Samangan province, an official said on Monday.

Police spokesman Hashmatullah Rahmani said two coalmines collapsed in Shabashak Shaikha village of Dara-e-Suf district of the province this morning and last night.

He said two miners died in the incidents.

Coalmine collapses in Samangan have previously also claimed the lives of workers.
