KABUL (Pajhwok): The World Health Organization (WHO) has provided 374 medical kits to the Public Health Department of northern Jawzjan province, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Sunday.
In a statement posted on its X, the MoPH said the kits were officially handed over to the pharmacy department of Jawzjan’s Public Health Department in the presence of an appointed delegation.
Public Health Director Syed Ziaullah Hosseini thanked WHO for its continued support and services, stressing that the assistance would be used effectively in line with the priorities of the health sector.
According to the ministry, the aid is expected to play an important role in strengthening the preparedness of health facilities and improving the delivery of services to patients during emergency situations.
