KABUL (Pajhwok): At least four people were killed and 15 others injured after a passenger bus overturned while trying to avoid a motorcycle in Pakistan’s Punjab province on Wednesday.
Dawn reported the incident occurred this morning in the Muridke area near the Kala Khatai Road in Sheikhupura district.
It said the bus was carrying mourners returning to Lahore after attending a religious gathering in Saidwala.
The newspaper added the driver lost control of the vehicle while attempting to avoid a motorcycle, causing the bus to overturn.
Rescue teams were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of the accident and found four people dead. Their identities have not yet been established, Dawn reported.
It added that 15 passengers were seriously injured. After receiving first aid at the scene, they were transferred to the Government Narang Mandi Hospital for further treatment.
