KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has thanked the European Union for contributing €10 million to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund.
OCHA said in a post on X on Thursday that the contribution would help sustain life-saving humanitarian assistance for millions of people across Afghanistan facing growing needs.
The UN agency welcomed the EU’s continued humanitarian support for Afghanistan and stressed the importance of continued cooperation in this area.
“Together, we invest in humanity,” OCHA said.
