CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Three foreign troops were injured in a suicide attack in the Bagram district of central Parwan province on Friday afternoon, the district chief said.
Abdul Shakoor Qodusi told Pajhwok Afghan News the NATO-led troop were on a patrol in the Senzai area when came under attack at around 2pm.
Civilians suffered no casualties in the blast that left three foreign soldiers injured, he said.
With ISAF claimed responsibility for the blast. The group’s spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, said the suicide attack involved a bomb-rigged motorcycle.
He claimed several foreign troops were killed and wounded in the attack.
The attack comes a day after the insurgents targeted NATO troops in two botched car suicide attacks in eastern Nangarhar province, killing a civilian in the second blast.
