KABUL (Pajhwok): Hamza bin Laden, Al-Qaeda supremo Osama bin Laden's son, is dead, US officials say.
Several media outlets, quoting unnamed officials, reported on Wednesday the 30-year-old died in an operation.
CNN said the US had a role in his death and that the Trump administration recently got evidence corroborating the American assessment.
The New York Times reported that Hamza bin Laden had been killed in an operation within the last two years.
The man believed to be in his early 30s was reportedly an emerging leader in Al-Qaeda. He carried a million-dollar reward on his head.
Hamza released audio and video messages on the Internet, urging his supporters to conduct attacks against the US and its Western allies.
