Pakistan offers Afghans 4,500 more scholarships

PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Pakistan has announced 4,500 more scholarships for Afghan students pursuing graduate and post-graduate programmes at various universities.

The News International reported on Thursday that Pakistan had already been providing thousands of Afghan students with excellent educational facilities even before announcing these scholarships.

In the wake of last year’s political change in Afghanistan, Pakistan has scaled up support to the war-battered neighbour in humanitarian, economic and other spheres.
