Over 5,000 Afghans return from Pakistan, Iran last week

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Refugee and Repatriation says about 5,000 Afghan refugees voluntarily returned to the country from Pakistan and Iran in the past seven days.

MoRR wrote on its X handle that 1,181 people, comprising 145 families, returned from Pakistan through Torkham and Spin Boldak crossings.

It added about 3,853 Afghan refugees voluntarily returned from Iran via Islam Qala port in western Herat province.
