KABUL (Pajhwok): Nasir Sedqat, manager of Afghanistan’s national futsal team, has announced the appointment of Dejan Djordjevic from Serbia as the new head coach of the national futsal team.
In a video shared on the Afghanistan Football Federation’s Facebook page, Sedqat said the newly appointed coach and members of the new technical staff arrived in Kabul on Friday.
He added that Javad Asghari Moghaddam from Iran has been appointed as the technical assistant coach, Reza Samayi from Iran as the goalkeepers’ coach, Jova from Brazil as an analyst, and Rio Samana from Spain as an assistant coach for the national futsal team.
Sedqat said the newly appointed staff members are expected to officially sign contracts with the Afghanistan Football Federation in the coming days.
