Two families in northern Kunduz province have reconciled, ending their four years enmity as a result of efforts from local officials and tribal elders.

Last week, some institutions expressed concerns at the economic and security situation in Afghanistan, but the Islamic Emirate dismissed the apprehensions as groundless and part of a propaganda campaign.

FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): A 7-year-old enmity between eight families in Farah City, the capital of western Farah province, has ended through the mediation of ulema, tribal elders and common people, an official said on Wednesday.
