HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Minister of Education Dr. Asadullah Hanif Balkhi on Wednesday said because of officials’ inefficiency the ministry failed to spend $134 million assistance of international community to improve the country’s vital sector.
Speaking at a gathering attended by students and officials in western Herat province, the minister said investigations showed the amount could not be spent due to administrative corruption within the ministry and lack of capacity of officials.
He said the amount should have been spent over different development projects until September 2015 . . .
