A statement from the Presidential Palace said President Ashraf Ghani on Saturday evening presided over a meeting of the NPC, which approved the 5.9 billion afghanis worth contracts.
The contracts were about a 500 kilowatt power transmission line from Aqina to Shiberghan, the capital of northern Jawzjab province, and the extension of 220 kilowatts of electricity from Shiberghan to Mazar-i-Sharif.
Other contracts approved were about the development of sub-stations in Andkhoi, Shiberghan and Mazar-i-Sharif . . .
