KABUL, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) on Sunday said more than 60, 000 farmers across the country had received training in best paddy cultivation methods over the past five years.
The MAIL in a statement said nearly 220,000 hectares of land was brought under rice crop cultivation in Kunduz, Takhar, Baghlan, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kunar, Badakhshan, Balkh, Khost, Paktia, Dai Kundi, Sar-i-Pul, Bamyan, Kabul, Kapisa, Ghor, Parwan and Badghis provinces this year.
