KABUL (Pajhwok): The refugee minister on Sunday said 40 percent of 250,000 Afghan asylum seekers in Europe might be deported by the end of the current year.
Syed Hussain Alami Balkhi was testifying before the Meshrano Jirga or upper house of parliament on problems Afghan refugees face in European countries including forceful deportation.
He said some European countries wanted to forcefully expel 40 percent of Afghan refugees (nearly 100,000 persons) without any condition.
