UN secretary general Ban Ki-Moon and Afghan president Ashraf Ghani met in Doha on the sidelines of the 16th Doha Forum entitled “Stability and Prosperity for All”.
A statement from the Presidential Palace in Kabul said the UN chief voiced his support for recent steps taken by the Afghan government in different spheres, especially in peace talks with HIA.
Ban said they would evaluate the draft peace agreement between the Afghan government and the HIA and would then take necessary measures . . .
