KABUL (Pajhwok): The price of gold slightly dipped while that of essential daily-use items remained stable compared to last week’s rates in Kabul, market sources said on Saturday.
Basir Ahmad, a jeweller in Lycee Maryam area of Kabul, said the price of one gram of Arabian gold decreased from 2,500 afghanis to 2,400 afghanis and the same amount of Russian variety from 1,950 afghanis to 1,900 afghanis.
He linked the decrease in gold prices to international market trends.
