KABUL has witnessed significant success, claims a senior Trump administration official, rejecting reports about a stalemate in the country.
US National Security Adviser Gen H.R. McMaster said in a radio interview monitored here on Saturday: “There’s a tremendously successful campaign going on with Afghan forces in the lead.”
He said President Donald Trump did not approve of his predecessor’s strategy of announcing US deaths in Afghanistan and the deadlines for sending in or pulling out American troops.
