AIBAK (Pajhwok): Orchards of different fruits have been grown on more than 500 acres of land as part of this year’s spring tree plantation campaign in northern Samangan province, an official said Thursday.
Mohammad Jafar Muhseni, acting head of the Samangan agriculture, irrigation, farming and livestock, told Pajhwok Afghan News 10.8 million afghanis were spent on growing the fruit orchards.
He said half of the money was provided by farmers and the remaining half by the World
