KABUL, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) on Monday said 15 provinces of the country were under high threat of draught while 20 million livestock was faced with shortage of pasture.
Wolesi Jirga or lower house of the parliament on Monday summoned Nasir Ahmad Durani, agriculture minister and Mohammad Aslam Sayas Deputy State Minister for Natural Disasters Management to brief lawmakers about the government’s measures for dealing with the draught.
