KABUL, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) has granted loans amounting to 6.1 billion afhganis to farmers in the country, showing above 75 per cent increase since 2015.
MAIL and USAID conducted a survey “National Survey on Supply, Demand and Financial Services for Farmers” in one year, interviewing almost 7000 farmers.
The survey’s findings were shared at a press conference in Kabul by MAIL spokesman Akbar Rustami.
