JALALABAD (Pajhwok): The European Union and the United National are building residential houses for 3,000 deserving families at a cost of $32 in eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Tuesday.
UN Settlements Programme (UN HABITAT) Director Sayed Malook Sherzad assured Nangarhar Governor Hayatullah Hayat of implementing the programme soon.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News said Sherzad asked the governors to provide land for the housing scheme being funded by the EU.
