BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): The harsh drought in decades that gripped Afghanistan this year has affected around 50,000 families in central Bamyan province, local officials said Monday.
Abdul Wahab Mohammadi, the provincial agriculture, irrigation and livestock department head, told Pajhwok Afghan News about 50,000 families had been affected by the drought in 15,000 villages of the province.
