KABUL elected as deputy head for the 46th Foreign Ministers meeting of the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) which will take place on March 1-2 in Abu Dhabi, an official said on Tuesday.
Walli Naeemi, Afghanistan’s envoy to the OIC, said since the inception of the organization back in 1969, it was the first time that Afghanistan was given the deputy headship of the foreign ministers meeting for one year.
He assured Afghanistan would be having great achievement under the platform of the OIC after one year. He gave credit to the effective diplomacy of Afghanistan in the organization for the achievement.
The foreign ministers meeting of the OIC is scheduled on March 1-2 in Abu Dhabi.
