Karzai underlines women’s role in peace talks

KABUL’s Network and discussed with them the intra-Afghan peace dialogue.

“Strong and active participation of women (in the peace process) is of great importance,” the former president said in a statement from his office.

He added the return of peace would not only guarantee the rights of women, but also ensure a better future for Afghanistan’s people, importantly for women.
