GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Optimistic about peace this new solar year to enter direct talks on a political settlement instead of waging the new fighting season.
The women expressed these views during a peace conference attended by a large number of women in Gardez, the provincial capital, on Thursday.
Deputy governor for social and culture affairs Zuhra Ahmadzai called on the conference participants to encourage their sons to play their part in social stability affected by the ongoing conflict.
