KABUL and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) unanimously agreed on Tuesday on a joint 12-point declaration aimed at "safe and honorable" repatriation of Afghan refugees living in the neighboring country for the past four decades.
The Afghan delegation was headed by Refugee and Repatriation Minister Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi, Minister for SAFRON Shehryar Afridi represented Pakistan while UNHCR was represented by representative for the UN refugee agency in Pakistan, Ms. Ruvendrini Menikdiwela and UNHCR representative in Afghanistan Ms Caroline Van Burn.
