ASADABAD (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MoAIL) says a dairy processing plant is being constructed at a cost of 20 million afghanis in eastern Kunar province.
Deputy Minister Hashmatullah Ghafoori, during a visit to Kunar, said the agriculture sector was strong in the province but there was no processing facility.
While laying the foundation stone of the dairy plant in Asadabad, he said the facility would cost 20 million afghanis and would be completed in six months.
