KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani says his government remains focused on the reconciliation process, as peace and elections complement each other.
Ghani, chairing a cabinet meeting on Wednesday afternoon at the Presidential Palace, spoke about the September 28 presidential election and stressed its conduct in a fair way.
A statement from his office quoted the president as saying that nothing could impede the national process. He said peace and elections were inter-dependent.
