Walid Tamim appointed as Afghanistan’s ambassador to India

KABUL’s ambassador to India in compliance to presidential decree and will take charge of the affairs soon.

Tamim, who earlier served as head of Petroleum and Gas Authority acknowledged his appointment to Pajhwok Afghan News.

Former Afghan Ambassador to India Shida Abdali resigned last year to participate in presidential election. He is one of the presidential hopeful for September polls.
