KABUL or lower house of Parliament on Wednesday announced appointing a joint committee with the upper house to assess the peace process, saying the panel would soon start its work.
The Wolesi Jirga leadership board, as suggested by 50 lawmakers, discussed how to secure peace in the country and included to the topic to today’s agenda.
Amir Khan Yar, first deputy speaker who chaired today session, said the joint committee of both the houses would evaluate the peace process in the country.
