KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani has ruled out any compromise on people’s rights, stressing adherence to the rule of law in the country.
Addressing a meeting at his office, Ghani promised a return to past illegalities would not be allowed, a statement from the Presidential Palace said on Friday.
Second Vice-President Sarwar Danish and members of the State Builders electoral team attended Thursday’s meeting.
The president thanked people for supporting his electoral team, saying their voting choice was futuristic and driven by the national interest.
