KABUL (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah has directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to put on hold reforms, prompting the Presidential Palace to accuse him of impeding the process.
A day earlier, Abdullah issued a decree, ordering the MoFA to prevent any kind of reforms and fresh appointments in what he called the supreme nation interest..
Under the agreement on the national unity government, the CEO said, the ministry had been told not to take hasty decisions in the name of reforms.
