MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Construction companies, owners of machineries and engineers claim they have not been paid for asphalting 33 kilometers of the Maimana road by the project’s main contractor.
According to them, the $910m project, funded by the Ministry of Transport, has been initiated by Faiz Fazlullah company.
The complainers, including 30 private construction companies’ director s, drivers and engineers, staged a protest in Maimana, the capital of western Faryab province.
