KABUL (Pajhwok): Polish citizens stranded in Kabul due to the Covid-19 outbreak have been flown home aboard a military plane.
Poland’s Armed Forces Operational Command reported its soldiers assisted Operation Resolute Support in the transport sphere.
Journalists, medics, contract workers and 10 Polish citizens were stranded in Afghanistan two months ago. They returned home on May 4.
All the evacuated people underwent medical examinations before being flown to Poland aboard a CASA C-295M . . .
