KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani and his political rival Dr. Abdullah will overcome their differences and set up an inclusive government in the near future, China hopes.
The Afghan government on Tuesday claimed progress in talks with the Stability and Partnership team led by Dr. Abdullah on ending the political crisis.
Under a tentative agreement between the two sides, Abdullah will be given 50 percent of cabinet slots and Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum will be elevated to the marshal rank.
