Keep reduction in violence promise, NATO tells Taliban

KABUL to honor their promises on reduction of violence.

Stefano Pontecorvo issued the call in a tweet after a video conference with Foreign Minister Hanif Atmar on Monday.

“Had a very good meeting with Atmar. Despite challenges, it is important to maintain momentum towards intra-Afghan negotiations,” the SCR wrote.

He urged the insurgent group to implement its commitments, reduce violence and pursue peace for the benefit of all Afghans.
