CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Unidentified armed men have abducted two doctors from a clinic in Bagram district of central Parwan province, local officials said Tuesday.

Abdul Shakoor Qudosi, Bagram district chief, confirmed the incident and told Pajhwok Afghan News that the two doctors were abducted from Emergency Clinic in Sar Sayad village of the district on Monday night.

Provincial crime branch chief, Mohammad Sadiq Hashimi, also confirmed the issue and said their investigations were underway to find and rescue the doctors.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the abduction of the health personnel.
