Landmine blast kills 2 civilians in Khost

KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Two civilians were killed and a police officer wounded in a roadside landmine blast in Khost province, an official said on Thursday.

The explosion targeted a police vehicle in MataChini area in the afternoon.

Khost security officials confirmed the blast.

Officials at the provincial hospital confirmed receiving two dead bodies.

No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
