KABUL (Pajhwok): The Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG) is introducing a new application for access to information about municipal services in smart phones.
IDLG Municipality Affairs Assistant head Sibghatullah said the application would be introduced for the first time in Mazar-i-Sharif, Herat City, Kandahar City and Jalalabad.
In the second stage, the application would be expanded to other cities, he added.
Legal and Legislative Affairs Director at IDLG Abdul Bashir Rateb said the application could help citizens of a particular city to get information about general services of municipality, allocation of funds and other activities.
